This is a Catski Day Trip we designed for folks that are new to Backcountry Ski Touring. This day is intentionally designed to slow down the pace and provide guests with an Avalanche Awareness Clinic, tips and tricks for skiing deep powder, and how to move efficiently through the mountains with your Ski Touring setup. Participants should be intermediate to advanced skiers looking to learn, refresh, and improve backcountry skills. Most importantly the participant should be looking to have fun and ski!

The day includes:

• A Guided and Instructed day of skiing with appx 5-6 runs.

• A Delicious Lunch at our Yurt Lodge

• Transport in/out from Yurt

• Avalanche Awareness and Orientation Lesson at Yurt

• 2-3 Ski Touring Runs with SnowCat Assist(Involves hiking uphill)

• 3-4 Catski Runs(Ride to the Top in Cat)

• Avalanche Safety Kit if needed Beacon, Probe, Shovel, Backpack

Our Guides and Instructors have been Avalanche Educators, Professional Ski Guides, Forecasters, Professional Skiers, and Ski Instructors for over a decade and specialize in sharing their love of the BC with you!
